Right now we are currently looking at weather and climate. Students will be describing weather, looking at weather patterns and weather forecasts in chapter 13. In chapter 14 students will be learning about climates on Earth, climate cycles, and the recent climate change. Below is the notes that students can use as they work through chapter 13 and 14 on weather and climate.
Students may use their textbooks, or I have attached a PDF that has the reading for each section.

Lesson 1 Directions:
- Read through the reading and fill out the notes as you go. If you have any questions, please email me.
- Once you have finished the notes, drop a copy of your notes into the "Assignment Folder" below.
- Then use your notes to take the practice quiz on lesson 1. Once you have finished the practice quiz, drop that into the "Assignment Folder" as well. **You will have to refresh the page when you go to submit another assignment.

- In this lesson I have attached an optional lab, all you need to complete this lab is ice and an empty water bottle or soda bottle. This lab is OPTIONAL!

- Then read through the reading below and fill out the notes that go along with that reading. Once you have the notes filled out go ahead and submit them below in the Assignment Folder.

- There is also an OPTIONAL mini lab for this section. For this mini lab you will be looking at a map that is in your packet. This again is optional but is a great way to look at how climates vary.
